About The Founder
Kevin founded Outstand after his successful tenure as the CEO of Prevail, a leading provider of professional services for small business owners. Kevin founded Prevail in his dorm room while in graduate school and started by acquiring a small, family-run business. Kevin and his team completed four more acquisitions across the country, expanded the employee base from 12 to 90 professionals, and grew the company by 500%. Today, Kevin continues to be a significant stakeholder in Prevail, and is looking for his next business to acquire and grow.
Before running his own business, Kevin was an investor at Leonard Green & Partners, a multi-billion dollar investment firm, where he worked on acquisitions and growth initiatives for companies in the business services, industrial services and consumer sectors. Kevin has also held operational roles at a national provider of business technology services, as well as at a fast-growing food company.
Kevin earned his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and his B.S. in Business Administration and B.A. in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley. Kevin grew up in California but now lives in the Greater Boston area with his wife and son. Outside of work, Kevin enjoys spending time with family, participating in church activities, cheering on the Boston Celtics, playing guitar and dabbling in golf.
